Ingredients
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Oil, sunflower, linoleic less than 60%
6 tbsp
Chili sauce
2 tbsp
Garlic, raw
2 Tbsp
Onions raw
1 medium 2-1/2" dia
Sweet Green peppers, raw
1 medium
Soy sauce made from soy and wheat shoyu
4 tbsp
Tofu okara
12 oz

Preparation method


  1. Crush garlic clove, slice onion, de-seed the sweet pepper and cut it in squares.
  2. Cut tofu into 1-inch pieces and put it in a shallow non-metallic dish.
  3. Add garlic, chili sauce and soy sauce. Mix well and keep aside for 20 minutes.
  4. In the meantime, heat oil in a deep pan and saute onion in it until crispy brown.
  5. Spread sauteed onion over paper towel to absorb excessive oil.
  6. In the same oil, add tofu and stir fry for 5 minutes then bring out of pan.
  7. Take out some oil from pan, as much that only a tbsp is left in it. Add sweet pepper to it and stir fry for 3 minutes.
  8. Now again add tofu and onion to the pan and stir to cook.
  9. Drizzle sesame oil, mix slightly and serve.
