How to Lose More Weight!

Jump Rope - The Simple Jump Rope!
Remember how it was so much fun to play with jump ropes when we were young? Adding jump ropes to your workout routine will not only add an element of playfulness to your exercise schedule, but it will also encourage your body to burn more calories and lose weight. Incorporate short bursts of jump rope exercises between your regular workout exercises to increase the intensity and calorie burning capacity of your workout! Initially you can limit yourself to 30 seconds of jump rope exercises, but gradually build it up to 2 minutes and more if you like.
Variety - Variety Is The Name Of The Game!
Have you been in love with the same workout for months? It’s time to change things up a little! Performing the same exercises again and again is one of the key reasons for hitting a fitness plateau. Your body simply keeps getting better and better at executing those moves and your muscles don’t have to do much work at all. You can lose more weight by adding new exercises and throwing in a bit of variety in every exercise session will confuse your body and kick your muscles into alert mode! You can add weights, change the pace of your routine, shuffle the exercise order around or if you’re feeling really adventurous, maybe even sign up for a new exercise form altogether!
Speed Training - Speed It Up With Speed Training!
Similar to interval training, speed training involves incorporating short bursts of high energy movement in your regular workout routine. It basically involves increasing your speed right up till the point where you feel like you just can’t maintain that speed for more than a minute. So while you are running or cycling, incorporate speed training for 45 seconds to 1 minute. Then allow your body to calm down by slowing your pace until you are able to catch your breath. Being able to catch your breath is a cue for you to start speeding up again! Speed training is an excellent way to lose more weight!
Commitment and Motivation!
As you increase the intensity of your workouts, you will of course feel the pressure and the challenge of performing more demanding exercises. To lose more weight you must stay focused and remind yourself consistently of your goals. Practice self motivation and self encouragement by telling yourself that you are very capable of mastering these challenging moves and that you can easily lose more weight! Dedication, determination and hard work will get you out of the fitness plateau and back on the weight loss track!
