Home-Grown Almonds:
Fresh almonds grown at home require different and unique preparation before storage. One should be hygiene conscious while dealing with almonds because they require sanitation. Start by drying the newly harvested almonds on a screen. Cover it with another screen to prevent it from being contaminated. Let them dry until you feel the nuts are completely hard.
