How to become a Zumba® Instructor?

Getting started
However, there are no mandatory prerequisites to join the training courses; there are few things you need to know before getting started:

Anyone who teaches Zumba classes without having a current Certificate of Completion is in violation of trademark and copyright laws.

It is more than just a dance, and necessary that you are able to entertain and make a roomful of people excited and enthusiastic about doing this activity. As you become certified, here the hard work begins for the preparation of your first class. Generally, you are supposed to make a list of songs that everybody will be going to enjoy. You are recommended to listen to the music continuously, as you practice your choreography.
The good thing about Zumba is that you will be able to create your own choreographics with your own unique style to it. Zumba is supposed to be 70% Latin music, but you can include other types of music into the class.

If you practice at a health club, you can expect to make anywhere from $15-$25 a class. If you plan on renting your own space, you can make up to $100 for a class.
