Reverse Woodchop - Toning Tube Exercise


Reverse wood chop exercise is one of the best standing abdominal exercises that help you tone your body and increase upper body strength via developing chest, shoulders and back. Reverse wood chop is an effective variation in toning tube exercises. Reverse wood chop exercise is similar to regular wood chop exercise that works on upper body and abdominal core muscles simultaneously. It is essential to keep your abs tight throughout the exercise and press your belly button towards your spine to engage your core muscles and get the maximum benefits of the workout.  Reverse wood chop helps you to get strength for twisting motions like those involved in various sports. It is advisable to ask your doctor before starting any new exercise if you have certain health issues.

Reverse Woodchop - Toning Tube Exercise - Step 1

Step 1

Bend your knees slightly and begin movement by pulling the band across your body, towards your opposite shoulder. Rotate your torso and pivot your back foot as you extend your arms.

Step 2

Return to start position. Repeat 10-15 times per side.
