Many people have the unwanted dark gags around and beneath their eyes! These dark circles can put a damper on your efforts at looking fresh, young and vibrant. In fact they contribute to making you look old, tired and sometimes even sick! There is no magical or miracle way of getting rid of dark circles, the main was is to get more sleep, however it is easier said than done as this can be tough to fit in a busy schedule! Iron is a very important mineral in our body which has a direct relationship with causing dark circles under your eyes. This is because Iron is responsible for the manufacturing of hemoglobin which is the blood pigment that carries oxygen to your cells!
Causes Of Dark Circles # 2 - Dehydration
Lack of hydration through the means of water will also lead to dark circles! This is because the body in constantly releasing moisture and therefore the excessive water loss which is the very cause of dark circles.
Causes Of Dark Circles # 3 - Exposure To The Sun
The sun is really damaging and therefore is advised to protect your skin before stepping out. Sun exposure causes skin pigmentation all over your body. Those who wish to get tanned by the sun are actually just increasing the natural pigmentation of their skin that the sun helps bring to the surface, the same principles applies to dark circles. When stepping out in the sun, it further increases the dark color to come out from under the eyes and therefore causing dark circles!

Interestingly your kidney and liver are directly related to the area beneath your eyes, therefore if you are facing either a kidney or liver problem; it is most likely to show right under your eyes as dark circles! This could mean there is weak kidney or liver activity!

If you suffer from cold or sinus infections you will be more likely to have dark circles. This is because cold and sinus infections exert pressure of superficial blood vessels in the skin causing dark circles!
