Chest Exercises

The chest muscles are a combination of major and minor pectoralis. The major pectoralis is a muscle that makes more than 50% of the chest; it starts off from the collar bone (in the end of the neck) and moves towards the shoulder; covering the area in between. The main purpose of this muscle is of abduction and flexion; of the shoulder and of the inside rotation of the shoulder. It is basically this muscle upon which most of the chest exercises are focusing upon.
